Even though Africa has been witnessing economic growth from 2001–2010, this high growth has not produced sufficient jobs for all. According to the International Labour Organizations (ILO, 2013, pp. 90–91), between 2000 and 2008 Africa created 73 million jobs, of which 16 million went to young people between the ages of 15 and 24.

Management and business schools in Africa can train the requisite managers and find the requisite employees in this sector with innovative programmes.
